I was invited by a friend to come and visit her in Indonesia, she has been staying there for three years, and had learned to love her new home, Annie had been inviting me since last year, though we were miles apart, our communication was still open. I grab the chance of being able to spend summer vacation in Jakarta with her since I dream of traveling and visiting new places, I was set to go in two weeks time, I was excited on seeing my best friend again. Annie was to pick me up in the airport a sixty minute ride from the center where she was to have a pilates in jakarta class, this is my first time to travel in Asia, when I arrived, we were chatting all the way to her pad. We decided to go out and see the city, even though I was still tired from the flight, after refreshing myself, she plotted out our itinerary, I noticed that Annie despite her stressful job, she still look fresh, active and radiant. She mentioned that attending pilates in jakarta helped her a lot, it does not only keep her fit physically but mentally and emotionally as well, she told me that she will bring me there the following day. The following day, we went to the the training studio, it was truly have a state-of-the-art facility and I was able to attend the group class, since it was my first time, the trainer gave me a free one on one session instead. Annie and I tried to squeeze our Pilates class schedule, my vacation was fun and educational as well, it taught me to be fit and healthy, now the first thing I need to do once home, is to look for a Pilates training studio.

I really have developed a fascination with the different operating systems available on the market today and because of this, I made some experimentation on these systems that I really like such as the Windows, the Mac and its different versions, and also the Linux which also has its own versions and releases such as the Debian, the Fedora, and the ever famous one, the Ubuntu. However, there is one operating system which I would really like to try; these specific operating system is mainly run on mainframes, supercomputers, dedicated servers and other machines that require high speed and heavy computations, this was also one of the ancestors of the operating systems and it was used during the World war in military operations; yes, this one is called Unix. However, a brilliant student in the name of Linus Torvalds was not very happy with his desktop operating system but admired Unix very much, he wrote his own code and got some libraries making an operating system that is close to Unix but can be run on the desktop, thus the birth of Linux. This operating system was made mainly for experiments, research and development for those who are also big fanatics of the operating systems, it also has different sorts of variants or flavors depending on the distributor; it is also open source thus one can manipulate it whenever and how they want it to be. Apple, one of the leading companies today in the industry has developed their own operating system that is also Unix based, the Mac Operating System; it also has a lot of capabilities that Linux has, thus, one can run and do a lot of things, by just typing a few lines in the mac terminal server, however, unlike Linux, one cannot manipulate it as easily since it is not an open source operating system. I think I am at a position to be able to advice you in which operating system you should choose mainly because I have had experience with all of them; and I could tell you that if you are the simple user, you should use the Windows; if you are the type who likes it stable and with good aesthetics, you should stick to the Mac; and if you are the one who has deep knowledge, that of the geek level, there is definitely no doubt whatsoever that the Linux is for you.

I like caps because they feel so nice when I wear them, not to mention they are very cool and stylish. My favorite type of cap is the snap cap hat which is very functional and most people use it nowadays. I love the way they feel on my head and I also know that it also does other things for me. When my hair becomes unruly after a tough day on field at work, I just slip on my cap and I can hide my hair right away. I simply slip on my cap and voila, instant hair style. When it comes to fashion, I can be very simple and practical that is why a simple cap can be used as a fashion statement for me. I really wear the cap most of the times, but I am not that crazy to wear it every single time anywhere. I usually use it when I go to my friends’ house or when I just go around town without any particular thing to do. My face and head are protected from the harmful rays of the sun when I go out. I am very secure against cold when it rains because my cap is actually partly made of leather and mesh. The air can freely come in my cap and that keeps my head cool and aerated in hot weather. Also, the leather keeps me from getting sick from rain and the sun. You can either go in a store or go online to order your very own snap cap. I really had a great time with my family this weekend and it has been more than a year since I visited our hometown and I am really glad that I came home over the long four day weekend. I have been very busy all the time with my work in the office because there are so many projects that needed to be done on tight deadlines and that is why it so difficult for me to visit our hometown. I am really glad that I decided to visit my family because I missed the moments where I can just relax and do things on a slow pace and I missed eating the cooked meals by my mom. Even if this weekend is about to end, I do not feel sad or empty because my heart is overjoyed with so many beautiful memories we made over the weekend and I am really going to treasure this very rare moments forever. I am already heading back to my place and even if there is still more than hour before my flight, I am not bored because my mind is preoccupied with so many things about my family and the digital signage here also kept flashing some random fun facts. It really reminded me of my childhood days when my dad would usually tell us some fun facts before going to bed and every night we would always look forward for that time when our dad would tuck us in at night and leave us with something to ponder on.

I have always wanted to buy a new house and I want to make it or design it with a new flavor or feel to it. I like all kinds of architectural design, but I need to see that there is form and function. I really love Tuscany Villas when it comes to bold colors and bold structural designs. I have never been to Tuscany , but I really love it when I read about this country and watch the photos of their amazing buildings. The colors are both warm and soothing at the same time. One time, I was watching this cable show that featured a Tuscany house that needed to be redecorated and fixed. The original house was a bit drab and without any style whatsoever. The designers needed to have more inspiration and ideas to make sure that the house looked like one of those Tuscany villas that I frequently see on the internet. I am not an architect, but I have been around these sort of things for quite some time now and I can really say that when it come to Tuscany designs, it’s all about color and some landscaping. But the design should still be within the bounds of reason and unity and fluidity. Plants all need to be very easy take care of and these designs use a lot of organic materials. Going back to the show I watched, the designers really did a good job by coming up with clean design complete with the Tuscany style to it. The homeowner really liked the colors that the designers used and also the plants that were easy to use and maintain. The makeover was really very successful and the owner was ecstatic that what he wanted to have as a design was definitely achieved.
