Though I have plans of promoting my work in other places

Though I have plans of promoting my work in other places, the expense in doing so is just impractical, as an artist I have been thinking of other methods of promoting my work other than shows and exhibitions in galleries surrounding the city I live. However, I have a friend who is internet savvy and introduced me to new and innovative way of showcasing my work without breaking my pocket and does not demand so much of my time. Through an artist websites, I found an alternative avenue, it is an integral part of marketing for artworks on sale which is similar to a physical gallery and when correctly done, it facilitates the promotion of an artist’s work. A known advantage of the website is that it will show your portfolio to several clients in different parts of the world at the same time which cannot be done by a physical gallery and the expense is far lesser compared to an art studio. Helpful tips that will make the website a hit to visitors and will make them do the desired action like purchasing the artwork being posted and will lead them to refer to other art enthusiasts, were also shared by my friend. Organized and the background of the images being displayed should resemble more or less the walls of a gallery or art studio, just like a physical gallery, an artist website should be clutter-free to provide visitors a wonderful experience that’s memorable and enjoyable. As much as possible, ensure as well that the images on display are clear, the minutest details should be conspicuous to the visitors of the website and make sure to replace the pictures when after downloading its clarity is lost. Where visitors can leave their name and email details, you can use Opt in Box, You Tube for videos especially that many people loves moving images, and do not forget to utilize blogs where followers will have the chance to know what your are doing.
