We wanted to throw a really big party for my grandmother last year for her eightieth birthday, an afternoon of fun and then dinner after with all her friends. My uncle who planned to come home for the celebration from the United States did not make it, because he could not take off time from work so he just sent money to be spent for the celebration.   Preparation started a month before and I was assigned to take care of the birthday cake. The point is to find a cake that my grandmother would find impressive,but nothing too expensive, good thing I ran into cakes made of cupcakes. So I have decided to order a lot cupcakes, tied ribbons to each, and arrange them in a beautiful cupcake tray, and at the top most part, I bought a small beautiful cake with intricate words wishing a happy birthday, and added a cake topper of a grandmother in a rocking chair, with a book in hand and a dog at the foot of her feet. The party was at her place and we decorated the place with her photos in a tarpaulin. All of my grandma’s brothers and sisters were invited, also her neighbors and their families, a whole roasted pig was ordered by my aunt and it was served with fresh flowers on the tables. The whole house was packed with people, children and teens,so far it was one of the biggest celebration in her life. Even if my uncle, one of her son could not make it,she was still very grateful to all of us who contributed to making her day special and she looked so very happy.

  For me not to have a late delivery and I to avoid any complications when in labor and during delivery, my obstetrician-gynecologist already advised me to go walking when I was already 35 weeks pregnant. During weekdays, my husband and I will went walking for thirty minutes every morning before he goes to work and every night after dinner in our subdivision while during weekends we always went to the mall and while following the advice of the doctor, we also do some shopping and window shopping. On the first week, we always found ourselves in the infant department or stores and we tried to complete our checklist for the hospital bag of the baby such as the receiving blanket, swaddling blanket, newborn cloth diaper and bodysuits for newborn babies. The pregnant mommy also needs to have her own hospital bag because there are also some stuff that she needs such as nursing bra if you are planning to breastfeed, maternity pads if you will be having a normal delivery and post maternity clothes that you will be wearing in the hospital and in the next few months after giving birth. There is no better way to do your walking than going to the mall because it is fun and you would not even mind the time at all. I gave birth to a healthy baby boy in less than six hours after I was admitted to the labor room.

The sister of my friend gave birth to an endearing baby girl this week, I was amazed at how tiny and wrinkly the baby looks when she was out of her mothers womb for but a few hours. It is an awesome and at the same time terrifying experience to hear about how the birth of a baby all happens from a friend, when you yourself could eventually experience it in the distant future. Dont get me wrong I like babies and all, even though they drool, cry and complain a lot, but as much as I like looking at them and watching their adorable antics, I know that they require utmost patience and responsibility which right now I do not have and probably will not have until Im 30. It is interesting to note though that all my friends appear to share the same feeling I have in turns of having kids, it seems different from what our mothers would have felt then when they were the same age as us 20 to 30 years ago, for women who were in their early 20s it was common to have children or at least be married then. Its not the fact that we are so adamant on having kids, in fact some of my friends adore children and would really like to have an ample sized family some day, but then having a family is a big responsibility and I guess most educated and working women that stability, not just in terms of financial support but also emotional and psychological, is very much needed to start one especially with all different crises and calamities happening today.   We were amazed at just how much raising a baby would cost when we were looking for baby gifts, and we were not talking about buying baby accessories, adorable stuffed animal, but the most basic needs of a kid like milk, diapers and all that, the price tags of all the things were astounding to us considering that it was our first time actually browsing in the baby section of the department store. I really commend her and all for her wanting to be the one to care for the baby early on, just watching how my friends sister sacrifice her night shift job, that pays a lot mind you, and struggling to find a day job to be able to care and at the same time support the baby is a huge sacrifice to me but then when it comes to juggling her work, home and kids, I could just imagine all the stress and hard work she has to put up. Working moms who are also full time parents ought to be given a medal and I think for their hard work and dedication to both career and family they should also be nominated for a Nobel, it just makes me realize how much I value my mom and how she has put up with me, my sisters, my dad and her job.

To answer the question that is really bothering you and you cannot sleep just because of it, all you need to do is to be a Boy Scout at heart. A Boy Scout is trustworthy so a Scout should tell the truth always, he should honest at all times, he keeps his promises and people can depend on him.   A Boy Scout is so loyal that everyone, family, friends, Scout leaders, school, and nation are his friends and he does not have foes because of his loyalty. A true Boy Scout is helpful at all times so when he sees someone who needs help, he offers it immediately because that is just what he is trained to do and it is just amazing if everyone follows it so that there will be no more crime on our country. A true Boy Scout is so friendly. Be courteous if you want others to be courteous at you. A true Scout treats others as he wants to be treated without good reason so he does not need payback whenever he does something for his friends or family. A Boy Scout is obedient at all times so a Scout follows the rules of his family, school, and troop and he obeys the laws of his community and country.

One of the two teachers consideration Diana and Jerson went too far as well, the other did not have the same opinion, This is my take, but I think their face slapping and pushing is wrong, for that reason before I let a child watch their movies I tell the child my view, As of yet I have not had a child I have known see their movies and start face slapping, But if I thought they would do such manners I would not let them see these types of movies, I love old movies especially movies 2010, But some parents find it inappropriate for their children due to the physical the funny side like face slapping, shoving things in people’s faces, tripping others, and eye poking, I do not like an excess of it myself, I talked to two teachers about old slapstick movies, We all agreed the Three Stooges go too far with their physical humor because they have more than the average unsuitable physical humor, You know your child, If you think your child would start copying inappropriate manners do not let them watch movies like these, Watch a movie first, If you approve of it, then let your child see it.   the unskilled but lovable character Henry arellako plays, and I love the conventional happy endings, If you let your child watch this movie with you I think they will find the beginning funny when Henry has a not easy time with the luggage, Note: This movie does have nudity, And young children might not get the jokes, For kids ages ten and up, For adults there are some funny quips, while working one night they get a consignment of two coffins, one dracula, This sets the stage for going to a remote island where the maneuver is planned to take place.

What is really cool about him is that he can use common tools and equipments to become deadly weapons and not only that he is like james bond because he has hi-tech tools disguised as common tools such as a tuxedo that emits gas that can cause people to sleep or a cell phone stun gun that can put to sleep a mass as huge as an elephant or an eye glass that is actually a laser than can break metal chains in the movie I saw where the guy from China who is actually a spy against terrorist based in United States is the main character.   Because he has so many enemies, he tried to keep his feeling for himself but when he could not hold it anymore he confessed his love and they made love but the next day he pretended that nothing happened in fear that his enemies might use her to get to him as he fell in love with a single mom who happens to be his neighbor. But even though the spy tried to hide what is between him and the woman this upset the woman and his enemies still learned it when the antagonist tried to befriend the woman so one night the antagonist kidnapped the woman and asked the spy to surrender all the information that he has regarding China but the spy was adamant yet he was so weak for the sake of the woman. Even when the spy gave in the end the antagonist still tried to kill both the spy and the woman and this is when the twist came because it turns out that the woman is an American spy and she ended up saving the Chinese spy and killing the antagonist.

When I saw this shiny rock behind the throw blankets one day when I was cleaning my room, I took it and clean it up to see what it looks like and then I realize that it looks like a diamond so I decided to take it to a jewelry shop to have it appraised and to my surprise it was a real diamond.   So I thought that perhaps there are more diamonds in my room or even in my house so I made it a point that that weekend I will be cleaning the house but since I do not want to hire a house cleaner thinking that she might find the diamond first if I would ask her to clean, I know that it is going to be a long weekend for me. From the little money in my pocket I bought metal detectors as well as few mining tools that will enable me to detect precious stones by subjecting them to chemical treatment also I got myself a strong flashlight that will help me in cleaning dark areas in the house but all these equipments will not change the fact that I may not be able to clean the house in four weekends but nevertheless, I know that I have to start cleaning up and looking for diamonds if I have to earn more money and get an early retirement. Moments after cleaning some portion of the basement, I made it a point to use the flash light that I bought and started in the basement where it was dark and where we placed most of our junks so I saw shining objects situated in the edges of the room and there was no mistaking it is another diamond found in the hidden parts of the house.
