Two months have passed since a dreadful incident took place in Manila where a group of tourist was held hostage in a bus , it was definitely a horrible event that the whole world had to witness since the incident was covered live on international news channels, if only they had worn stab proof their lives could have been spared. It was as if the police was not ready for that kind of drama because they showed lack of expertise in handling the situation, they have their stab-proof on but cowardness got the best of them that the operation turned out to be a total disaster, too bad there is no proof for that. I come from a place that is not so much safe to stay at eitherbecause even though the criminality rate here is lesser than most places danger could still be around so a stab-proof worn under a shirt is not such a bad thing at all, I mean, I would rather be safe than sorry. When you are suited up with a protective vest like that makes you feel untouchable because for the obvious reason that not a single bullet could pass through your body, how cool is that? Perhaps the Manny Pacquiao could use a stab proof for himself considering all the money that he now have who knows or the danger that might get his way, but then again, with the kind of punch he have, who needs a stab proof?   People who talks behind your back is another form of stabbing too and sadly I use to get that more often from the school where I use to study; people always talks behind your back every so often and how I wish I could have one of those stab proofs custom-made for that kind of stabbing so I can just shrug of those negative comments I hear.

I grew up fat and chubby, I was used to all the teasing and making fun but fortunately enough for me, I was a strong little girl. Instead of backing me down, I was more determined to fight and give the person a piece of my mind whenever someone teases me and calls me fat especially if I wear a swim suit even if it is one piece.   I would fight and give that person the reason why I am right and would never take any sitting down if I am really sure of my stand. It does not bother me thinking that I become fat again today even though I have experienced losing weight in the past because I know I am happy. No matter how big or small I am, my size is not my determinant or a measure as to how I will be happy, I also have learned that even if I was big, if I choose to be a good person and be happy, I would always find that. I also do not think I am ugly just because I am fat, actually there are moments when I liked it better that my face has more fat in it than when it used to be when I got sick and was really thin that is what I have written in my journal. How you perceive life is more important than how others look at you, so if someone could not accept me for being fat, then it is not my lost. The person is definitely not worth my time because I only spend my time to people who can truly accept and love me for who I am and not for what I look like. So to those who are depressed because of their weight, please do not be, love yourself and show that to the world, and the world will smile back at you.

If I would pass in my anatomy class is something that I am not sure of because honestly I am not really into studying the human body parts as well as with the anatomy of animals, I really do not easily understand its parts and all its functions and how it works in human life though I know that it is important to know all those things. At first I tried to familiarize myself with the different parts then go over thoroughly studying its importance and functions since it is no joke discussing different parts of a certain species, it will never be easy for me but I know I always try hard so that I can learn my lessons well enough to pass but it is not just about studying certain parts and functions of a certain object, there are also other things related to it like how the DNA was composed and the minerals as well as nutrients that are part of it. When the teachers would discuss us about cells, antibodies and everything related to it, I would just merely listen to them because I was not really able to develop my interest with the sciences ever since high school and now that I am in college, I still could hardly understand what they were talking and now that I am in college the subject anatomy was really a hell for me.   When my teacher discussed about antibody, more specifically Nanog antibody which would relate to goats and self renewal in embryonic stem cells, I was amazed on how really life works that life is so amazing and worth living knowing how blessed people are to experience the wonderful world of creation, that discussion we had before about Nanog antibody really opened my mind and now I am very much eager to learn about anatomy.

As a voter during the elections, I wanted the best and credible people to win for the elected positions in the government but the people just can not avoid that there are candidates who just desire the position just because of their own selfish ambition to gain power, popularity and even corrupt money from the government which should be given to the welfare of the people and nation. Candidates promises many different things so I believed that the voters should perform background checks of the candidates during election so that they will not be fooled about their promises during campaigns. In our country, the Philippines, people are expecting a lot from politicians who gives a lot of promises and the people are left wide awake with their lies and broken promises. I really wonder why most people are hungry over power and money, why cannot they be of legal and true service to their people and these people are just so selfish that they cannot even think of others but only themselves, voters should be firm in their standards and should not easily believe these candidates during campaigns so that they will receive the improvement that they all hoped for the country and for themselves. Thankfully, there are people who are campaigning for the Earth to preserve it so let us continue to do so. People must be cautious of the reports saying there are hazardous chemicals that may run into the water. We should be careful in burning solid waste materials even if they can be converted into electricity because it may damage the ozone layer. The Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection encouraged their people to recycle so that there will be preservation of more resources. If we preserve the trees, we would not run out of paper or other materials for our furniture and infrastructure. When we learn on how to preserve our resources just as gold and others, it gives a better delight in their market and will be sustained in the future.   Most cell phone companies as well as those of computers are the top campaigners for nature especially that raw materials are very much needed for their production. Recycling is far more efficient, in terms of energy consumption, than producing something out of fresh raw material. In a nationwide scale, there may be a significant reduction on the cost of energy which are required to extract, process and transport metal from a mine to a refinery which is greater than the required metal used from products.
