First found in ancient Greece, stones and statues were used to help give an added look of elegance in the garden setting. Originally captivated in greek gardens, these vibrant shapes and designs have been used for thousands of years to help add life outside of plants.

Marble was a popular stone that was used to help decorate and manipulate the architecture and landscapes of gardens and homes. Using intimate drawings of Gods and natures, chiseled into the marble itself and then painted. Most of the statues that we have today have lost the vibrant design and coloring. At this point we’ve come to realize that indeed we have misconstrued the past as the Greeks used a lot of vibrant colors and designs. The decorative garden can be directly attributed to the Greeks.

A lot of our current Garden pieces and plaques can be connected with ancient garden landscape design, which can be viewed in our uniquely designed stones and artwork. Until about a decade ago most of the garden statues and plaques used simple and basic colors. Although we’ve now begun to see very exquisite colors and designs starting to be used. You can now see influences of designs from Mexican, Spanish and even French cultures.

The recent designs have displayed the color and character which we somehow lost during the last few centuries. Changing the norm that was associated with gardens not having any colored stones or plaques. Garden plaques come in just about any shape or style imaginable, it doesn’t matter if its a stepping stone or a flower holder. Most of the garden plaques that you will come across today still resemble a lot of the old styles, with images of goddesses and nature depictions. They have even begun making new designs that that are based on cartoon images. Garden plaques have even moved indoors as well, meshing the wall hanging style with the indoor decor. Blow molding is a process in which thermoplastic extruded plastic molds are used to create plastics.
